Ramsey, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol says animals wandering onto a roadway triggered a fatal motorcycle crash Sunday morning in a northern Twin Cities suburb.

The crash report indicates that 39-year-old David Borseth of Ramsey was driving a motorcycle on Highway 47 in Anoka County when he swerved to miss animals on the road and lost control. The State Patrol says he ended up striking the guard rail and suffered fatal injuries.

He was riding with another motorcyclist, who was not injured in the crash. She was identified as 48-year-old Janel Ernst Borseth, who is also from Ramsey.

The roadway was dry and both motorcyclists were wearing helmets when the tragic incident occurred around 9:30 AM.
