What Are the Beloit Supper Clubbers?

My family loves going to Beloit Sky Carp games during the summer, but I have to admit that I had no idea that the "Supper Clubbers" were a thing until I saw Sweet Lenny wearing this hat.

If you too don't know what the Beloit Sky Carp Supper Clubbers are all about, here's how it is explained on their website:

In 2023, the Sky Carp introduced their (alternate identity) as the Wisconsin Supper Clubbers, featuring The Supper Man—a playful nod to the iconic Old-Fashioned cocktail—as part of their special Friday Night player jerseys and gear. The concept took off immediately, with Supper Clubbers merchandise shipped to fans around the world and Friday Fish Frys quickly becoming a beloved ballpark tradition. Fans now enjoy the full Wisconsin experience every homestand, complete with classic Old-Fashioned and Slushy Old Fashioned cocktails.

Sky Carp fans may have fallen in love with The Supper Man (pictured on Lenny's hat above), but check out the new player joining the team in 2026 who is yet unnamed:

Name Ideas for the Grasshopper

You can submit your name ideas for the Grasshopper through December 31, 2025, by clicking here, but I would like to throw these names into the mix:

  • Minty Mae
  • Minty Marlene
  • Hoppin’ Holly
  • Dottie Dessert
  • Frosty Faye

I think "Dottie" might be my favorite name for a baseball mascot, what do YOU think?

FYI, new Grasshopper merch is already on sale.  Better scoop some up while you still can!
