This is definitely the year of tours, shows, festivals and concerts.  It seems like just about anyone who can get out and tour is doing just that.

JOURNEY ANNOUNCES FULL TOUR 2026

This time, Journey has made the announcement that they are going out on tour - it's the Final Frontier Tour 2026. A special evening with Journey.  And they are making their way across North American and making several stops.  The lastest one that has been announced is right here in Minnesota.

Journey - The Final Frontier Tour 2026 is making a stop at Grand Casino Arena on October 4th.  Tickets go on sale this Friday, May 15th at 10am.  There is a pre-sale, and that is set for this Thursday, May 14th from 10am to 10pm.  If you want to try and get tickets early, the presale code is FAITHFULLY.

THERE WAS A CHANCE THAT THIS TOUR MIGHT NOT HAPPEN

Journey has been teasing a tour for quite awhile along with their current lead singer Arnel Pineda who had been making noise like he was wanting to retire and not tour anymore.  He says he tried to quit te band a couple of times, due to fatigue, vocal strain and some personal struggles.  But, due to some contractual obligations, he is on the tour, and he will be able to fulfill his obligation to the band.

THERE IS NOTHING BUT LOVE & RESPECT BETWEEN THE BAND MEMBERS

Despite going through some personal struggles, Pineda has expressed his love and gratitude towards his bandmates and the opportunity to front this legendary band.  He has actually been with the band longer than original lead Steve Perry.  Pineda has been with Journey for 18 years.  Perry was with the band for two stints adding up to 13 years.

WILL STEVE PERRY JOIN AT ANY OF THE SHOWS ON THIS TOUR

There was also talk, and never confirmed that Steve Perry would come back and perform with the band for a show or two, or even just a couple of songs. But he has said that it won't happen.  Pindea had said that he would welcome Perry at anytime during the tour.  But it doesn't look like that will happen.

It's great that everyone in the Journey camp worked things out and they is doing another tour.  People love the band and being able to see them again in an arena format is great.
