New Asian Restaurant To Open Soon In Duluth
Food lovers, rejoice! A new dining option will be opening in the Twin Ports area this month.
The restaurant, named Bali Asian Cuisine, will join the growing roster of new eateries and other businesses opening in the growing Lincoln Park Craft District of Duluth. This spring, Burger Paradox opened in the neighborhood, adding to the other offerings in the area like OMC and Hungry Hippie Tacos.
Last fall we got the news that Bali Asian Cuisine would be coming to Duluth, moving into the old JS Print Group location on the corner of Superior Street and 20th Avenue West in Duluth. A banner hung on the building declared the restaurant would be coming in 2023, right next to another new Duluth business - The Spice & Tea Exchange.
Bali is the culmination of 24 years of hard work toward a dream on the part of the owner, Nevi Mariadi. According to FOX 21, Mariadi explained to a teacher back in 1999 while pursuing her GED that she wanted to own a restaurant. That dream is set to become a reality this month.
Mariadi's new business will feature Indonesian food and a variety of other Asian cuisine items. Some of the things highlighted on the business's Facebook page include menu items like:
- Rice Bowls
- Sushi
- Poke Bowls
- Curry
- Ramen
After a year of preparation at their site, it appears Bali Asian Cuisine is almost ready to open!
