The 2026 concert calendar just got a major glow up, with the addition of a huge tour that will land at Minnesota’s biggest concert venue from an artist that’s been nominated for 36 Grammys, and has taken home a whopping 16.

With only two other concerts on the calendar for 2026 at U.S. Bank Stadium, I was wondering if another show could be added early in the new year, and boom, the announcement yesterday that one of the biggest artists in the world is coming this spring. For Twin Cities concert fans, and anyone thinking about making the trip down from Duluth, this is the kind of stadium show that turns into a full-on event.

A New Album and a Massive 2026 Tour

After nearly 10 years without a new solo record, Bruno Mars is back with a new album called The Romantic, a new upbeat song called I Just Might, and a new 40 show tour across North America, Europe, and the UK.

The Romantic Tour kicks off in Las Vegas on April 10th, and will make a stop in Minneapolis on Wednesday, May 13th. Joining him on the tour will be a longtime friend and collaborator Anderson .Paak as DJ Pee .Wee, and Leon Thomas will also open for the U.S. Bank Stadium show.

Ticket Presale and On Sale Details For Minnesota Stop

Tickets for the concert go on presale starting Wednesday, January 14th at noon. Fans can sign up for early access at the official artist website, but do it before the cutoff on Monday morning. For those that want to wait until the general on sale, that will happen starting at noon on Thursday, January 15th through Ticketmaster.

Bruno’s Minnesota History and Why This Stop Matters

This will be Bruno Mars’ first time back to the Twin Cities since his 24K Magic World Tour in 2017, when he sold out back-to-back nights at the Xcel Energy Center, now Grand Casino Arena. He returned again in 2018 with Cardi B for another sold out show.

Minnesota is always a special stop for Bruno Mars, as he often cites Prince as being one of his biggest influences. Like his last stop in the state when he did a touching tribute to the Minnesota icon, this upcoming show could also include some sort of nod to one of his personal heroes.
