We haven't had any major winter weather records for awhile - until now! Sure, we've broken records as far as this being one of the least snowy winters ever and what not, but in terms of actual snowfall, there hasn't been much or enough to talk about.

That all changed this week as we saw a late March snowstorm move into Minnesota. While it wasn't a major storm, especially by comparison, it was by far the biggest one we'd had in the Duluth area this winter.

How Much Snow Did Duluth Get?

As of Thursday (March 28th), the Duluth area has seen just about nineteen inches of snow this month. Most of that, if not all, was from this storm system. This makes for a very strange statistic!

What Weird Fact Did They Share?

WDIO shared a crazy fact about this snowstorm and the March snowfall for Duluth. According to their post, March has brought as much snow as October, November, December, January and February combined. WOW!

That is absolutely insane. It is even more so when you factor in how much snow we got last winter! Maybe this is Mother Nature's way of making things up to us, no?

I have to say that I am a little nervous about what the rest of this 'spring' has in store for us! Hopefully, this was the worst of it because I could really use a break from the snow. Ha!
