Sometimes you are sitting there, hungry, and a hot dog is one of the easiest things you can eat.  Heat the hot dog, throw it into a bun and voila!  Meal in a bun.

But, how many times have you been sitting out in the boat in the middle of the lake thinking to yourself "I could really go for a hot dog right about now" and suddenly a floating weiner cruiser shows up?

If this has been you, you are in luck!!

Every weekend you can check out their Facebook page and they will let you know where you can find them.

The comments let them know that people are totally on board for this venture.  One person calling it a "riot" and another saying how much fun they are having with the hot dog stand.  "It's a blast...".

How does this actually work?  In a story from Bring Me the News, you find out how this thing is put together.

Attached to a custom raft that is connected to a pontoon boat, the Lake Vermilion Weiner Cruiser has been traveling the giant lake at weekends since the Fishing Opener looking for hungry boaters to serve.

If this is a success (and so far it seems like it is) maybe they will move on to include some other lakes in the area.  Right now it's just on Lake Vermillion, in various spots on the lake. But we can always hope to expand the business.  Maybe eventually it will have many floating hot dog stands on several area lakes.
