White Bear Lake, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities in the Twin Cities are looking for a swimmer who was last seen in a north metro lake. 

Search efforts began Wednesday night when the swimmer was reported missing around 8 p.m. at Bald Eagle Lake in White Bear Township. Preliminary reports indicate the initial search was concentrated near the lake’s sole island.

A Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office spokesman said Friday morning that no recovery has been made and search and rescue crews have returned to the water for a third day. Video from the scene captured by the website MN Crime shows members of the Ramsey and Washington Counties Dive Teams searching the water.

The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office plans to provide updates when they become available.
