While 46 million Americans dig into the feast that awaits them, sadly, some gatherings are going to experience major disappointment. Their Thanksgiving meal was ruined (or at least part of it) by one of the top fails below.

According to the New York Post, 76% of Americans said that if we just took cooking out of Thanksgiving, we would all enjoy it a little bit more. The shopping alone takes the average consumer about 4 to 5 hours, which is a lot of time to spend when everyone else in the world is trying to buy the same items for the same reason - Thanksgiving. For some, multiple days of food prep have also been happening to make the day of eating and thanks a huge success.
When a fail happens like those above, it can be one of the most devastating moments for the host.
