Passenger Airlifted After Falling Off Motorcycle on Southeast Minnesota Freeway
Dover, MN (KROC-AM News)- A woman riding on the back of a motorcycle was airlifted to a hospital after she fell off of the back of the vehicle on a southeast Minnesota freeway.

It happened in eastern Olmsted County around 12:15 Wednesday afternoon. The State Patrol says the motorcycle was a three-wheel Can-Am.
The woman fell off the motorcycle after the operator lost control of it as it was traveling west on Interstate 90 about a mile west of the Dover exit, the state crash report says.
56-year-old Angela Elizabeth Gierok was identified as the passenger. The Whitehall, WI woman was flown by Mayo 1 to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester for treatment of what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.
58-year-old James E Gierok of Whitehall was driving the motorcycle. He was not hurt.
Both of the motorcycle occupants were wearing helmets and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the report says.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the accident scene.
Correction: A previous version of this story stated the crash happened a mile east of the Dover exit.
