Moorhead, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities have issued a statewide Endangered Missing Person Alert for a Minnesota man who has not been seen or heard from since last year.

The alert, sent by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) on Wednesday afternoon, indicates the missing man may have left Minnesota. 

He was reported missing to the Moorhead Police Department on Tuesday and officials are asking for assistance from the public. 

Statewide Alert: Missing Minnesota Man Not Heard From Since November Believed to Have Left Minnesota

The alert identifies 51-year-old Leroy Schmidt as the missing man. Schmidt has not been seen or heard from since Nov. 2 of last year.

Authorities say Schmidt was last believed to be in either Omaha Nebraska or Las Vegas Nevada. 

He is described as 5’9”, 180 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Information regarding a vehicle and clothing he could be wearing is not available. 

The BCA is urging anyone with information about Schmidt's whereabouts to call 911 or contact the Moorhead Police Department at 701-451-7660.
