Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities are releasing more information about the woman who was found dead in a crashed vehicle in Olmsted County over the weekend.

Law enforcement found evidence indicating what could’ve happened during the final moments of her life.
The 35-year-old was found dead by Olmsted County Sheriff’s Deputies who responded to a single-vehicle crash just south of Eyota at the Hwy. 42/I-90 interchange on Saturday morning.
Responding deputies found the woman’s body in the back of the crashed vehicle. She was identified on Tuesday as Liara Tsai of Minneapolis.
Evidence at the scene indicated the woman did not die from injuries suffered in an auto accident, according to the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities Find Violent Scene at Minneapolis Home of Woman Found Dead Near Eyota
On Monday the Minneapolis Police Department issued a news release indicating the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension asked officers to conduct a welfare check at the victim’s home around 2:30 Saturday afternoon.
Members of the Minneapolis Police Department, Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office and Minnesota BCA then executed a search warrant at the Minneapolis woman’s home and found what the news release describes as a “scene indicating violence.”
Deputies who responded to the crash arrested the driver of the vehicle, identified as 32-year-old Margot Lewis, on suspicion of interference with a dead body.
Lewis was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital then booked into the Olmsted County Jail once she was medically cleared. She’s due to make her first court appearance on Tuesday.
