Kwik Trip has nearly 900 locations across 6 Midwest states, and some of them will be adding a new fuel option for its customers.

I can't think of any other gas stations or convince stores offering this fuel in the area, it's generally found in other locations like stores, hotels, and even private homes, but Kwik Trip is about to change that.

Kwik Trip Goes Electric

Kwik Trip is rolling out its new 'Kiwk Charge" program, the new program will offer Direct Current Fast Chargers (DCFCs) at what they call a "strategic number of its stores across the Midwest."

Kwik Trip says the selected locations will have connectors for the Combined Charging Standard and the North American Charging Standard, allowing for most EVs to be charged.

Fastest (Kwik) Chargers

The Kwik Trip chargers will offer anywhere between 150kW and 400kW of power, depending on how many cars are using any given charging station at a time. Kwik Trip says that their chargers are "some of the fastest chargers in the market."

New App to Help EV Drivers

Kiwk Trip will also be launching a new standalone app that will allow for EV drivers to check for charger availability, cost, and locations.

CEO and President of Kwik Trip, Scott Zietlow, says, "At Kwik Trip our goal is to take care of all our guests. They will not only be able to charge their vehicle but can take advantage of all our quality offerings inside our stores."
