Other symptoms include a dry cough, nasal congestion, fever, chills and muscle aches. This new variant is also highly contagious - much more so than the variant before it!

This variant is skilled at ducking some of our big immune defenses, according to the World Health Organization. This means it's more transmissible than all of the previous strains of Covid.
