What better way to start your Thanksgiving holiday than by running a few miles? You can burn off some energy before you eat way too much turkey and take a nap later in the day!

The 19th annual Gobble Gallop is officially coming back to Duluth on Thanksgiving morning, landing on Thursday, November 28th.

The race is put on by Duluth Running Company, and you can register right now on their website.

Price increases based on how many people register so hop on it to get the best price! Registration closes at 8:45 a.m. on race day.

The race starts at 9:30 a.m. and the cutoff time is 10:30 a.m. The 5K course takes you through downtown Duluth starting at the Rose Garden on London Road. It then loops you onto Superior Street, to 5th Avenue West and back to the Rose Garden!

Aside from the Gobble Gallop 5K, there are also other race options, including the Tough Turkey 1-Mile for $20 bucks. That goes up five bucks if you register the week of the race.

The Gobble Giddy UP! run for kids for free. Runners that register for the 5K and one mile race get a custom hat for the occasion while supplies last.

Even if you aren't planning on taking part, there will be road closures in the area the day of the race so make note of that if you are traveling for the holiday.
