Volunteers Needed Now For The Largest Airshow In Minnesota
The Duluth Airshow, Minnesota's largest airshow, is set for Saturday, July 5, and Sunday, July 6, and it promises to be the biggest one yet.
Earlier this year, organizers excitedly announced that for the first time in their history, both the US Navy Blue Angels and the Canadian Forces Snowbirds would co-headline an airshow.
If that wasn't cool enough, there will also be two jet demonstration teams, two single-ship jet teams, and two parachute teams that will perform as part of the weekend festivities.
While fantastic performers are crucial to pulling off an amazing airshow, many other important people are needed for a successful weekend. Volunteers are a perfect example because they provide much-needed support to both organizers and attendees, but as the Duluth Airshow draws near, a shortage remains despite there being a financial incentive for volunteers.
Duluth Airshow Will Donate Funds To Local Organizations That Volunteer
Usually, when people volunteer for an event, they don't expect any financial compensation; they donate their time to be a part of a team, see some cool stuff, and maybe get a free t-shirt.
However, the Duluth Airshow goes a step further for its volunteers. Organizers recently shared they were about 100 volunteers short for this year's event, and they're looking for organizations who are available to volunteer, and in exchange, the Duluth Airshow will make a donation to the organization.
The deal isn't just for entire organizations either, as individuals who volunteer can choose an organization to which a donation will be made. It's a great deal for area organizations looking for fundraising opportunities.
Along with the donation, all volunteers also receive admission to the Duluth Airshow, a t-shirt, food, and beverages. You can click the button above to sign up now.
If you'd like to attend this year's airshow in Duluth, there are several ticket options available for the weekend, including Presidential Chalet passes.
Presidential Chalet passes include reserved seating, food and beverages at no additional cost, the chance to mingle with airshow performers, and more.
